5 PRO TIPS TO SPEED UP YOUR WORKFLOW IN PREMIERE PRO

1. REDUCE ALL CLIPS AT ONCE

How to shorten the duration of multiple clips at once in premiere pro

  • Select the ripple edit tool from the tool bar or press B on your keyboard
  • Click and drag over the clips you want to reduce its duration
  • Look to your project monitor, notice a new menu shows up there
  • Click the -1 button to reduce by 1 frame or click the -5 button to reduce by 5 frames from the right
  • To increase, use the plus buttons on the right side of the menu.
  • Continue to click this until you have your clips to your desired duration.

2. Apply Transition All Clips At Once

How to apply a transition to multiple clips at once in Premiere Pro

  • Click and drag over your clips to select more than one clip
  • Press Ctrl + D on your keyboard to apply default transition to all selected clips. Or
  • Select the ripple edit tool from the tool bar or press B on your keyboard
  • Click and drag over the clips you want to apply transition
  • Look to your project monitor, notice a new menu shows up there
  • Click the middle button that says apply default transition.
